A licensed real estate salesperson with experience in New York City, White Plains, and Scarsdale, New York, David Pomerantz is currently focused on residential sales within New York City. Outside of his work, David Pomerantz considers himself a jazz fan and is particularly fond of legendary jazz musician Miles Davis.
In April, actor Michael K. Williams confirmed via radio interview that he is slated to play Miles Davis in an upcoming biopic of the musician’s life and career. The production, still in its early stages, will “probably” go into production in early 2018, according to Williams.
Williams’ interest in the role stretches all the way back to 2011, when he told BET that Davis was one of his dream roles. The project itself has been in the works since at least 2014, when Willaims first discussed it. Titled, “Miles and Me,” the film will be about Davis’ relationship with Quincy Troupe, Jr., the musician’s biographer.
A Brooklyn native, Michael K. Williams has acted in both television and film. TV roles include HBO’s The Wire, as well as 2017’s Hap and Leonard. Williams’ movie credits include 12 Years a Slave, 2014’s Robocop reboot, and Disney’s upcoming Han Solo movie.
